There is a distinction between information, knowledge, and experience.
We are constantly bombarded with information 24x7. The majority of them are useless. We should be able to filter information and keep only what is relevant.
Retained information becomes a part of our Knowledge. However, it is mostly theoretical in nature. We all know that knowledge is power, but this is only half true. Power comes from applied knowledge. Unless we apply our knowledge, we are nothing more than information jockeys.
The most powerful thing of all is experience. Surprisingly, any good decision we make in life comes from our previous experiences. And, more importantly, our experience stemmed from previous bad decisions.
As a result, never be afraid to make decisions, no matter how good or bad they are. We can learn to turn bad into good with practice.
